Putting into Neutral before Park?

Thanks for responding to my comment almost a year and a half later. I guess you have nothing better to do.

This happened shortly after I bought my Prius and was not familiar at the time exactly how the different modes worked.
I never said nor looked down when I was entering the freeway if that is what you are implying.
