iPods and the 06 prius

I too want to know if the Vais works with the 2006 Prius. I have a package 1 and really want to be able to connect my I Pod.

Also, is there anybody in the Seattle area who could install it (should it prove functional)? I'm not capable of or interested in doing it myself.

Also, are people still doing the group buys here?

I would suspect that means they are doing the necessary R&D as we speak.
On a similar subject, does anyone here know where to find a complete reference to the iPod interface specs? And, more importantly, what is the protocol by which it transfers the track info to the radio for display?
