When will the '14 PIP Advanced Technology package arrive?????

    Seriously, when the heck will Toyota deliver the 2014 Advanced Technology package cars to dealerships in the SF Bay Area? I don't understand their thoughts behind delaying their production or delivery.

    Seriously, that is your reply? Toyota typically releases the next model year cars in October of the previous year. For example I bought my 2005 in October of 2004. Most manufacturers release their new model year during the previous model year. But thanks for playing……..

    toy doesn't have set intro dates. some are in fall and some come later. i checked around here and all they could tell me was the next few weeks. i think diane chimed in on this too.

    Weird, all I could find in the bay area are Advanced 2014's Had to go to LA to find a 14 Base.
    As of one week ago Dublin had 4 or 5, Walnut Creek had 4 or 5 and Burlingame had 1, saw them with my own eyes

    mindmachine is picking up his '14 advanced tomorrow. he lives in ohio, but is getting it out of state. not sure where.

    Yes they have the advanced but they do not have the advanced with the technology packages yet. That is apparently a new thing as the de-contented the '14 Advanced and created the Technology package to add on to the Advanced.

    RIF, my bad...... If the tech package has the LEDs and foglights, WC had a few ... (maybe they were 13's didn't look that close....) Dublin had a 2013 for $40k tech Pkg

    $38,720 MSRP for the Adv w/tech package (which has exactly what the old "Advanced" had). So about $2,000 less for the tip-top of line model. If you can live without the Dynamic Radar CC, the LED headlights, the PCS, and the fog lights, you can save $2600 and still get the higher end Nav system. Those are all items I'd happily live without to save a few K.

    :)Easy to pass on those items for those wanting to save. For me, small price to pay for what you get over the life of ownership. Throw in 0%, 60 month financing, enjoy the benefits and technology, you (I) won't miss the extra $2600. My wife was impressed with the bright LED lighting on a recent trip. I was impressed with the LED lighting on some newer, high end vehicles as they passed.

    I'd happily pay $2,600 more for the tech package on any trim level, especially a II. LKA and radar cruise are wonderful advancements in safety, and would make long road trips more comfortable. If it saves just 1 fender bender in 15 years, then it more than pays for itself.

    I'm disappointed that it was only offered on the V trim in the earlier models because I don't want the larger inefficient wheels, washers for my headlights, and other junk. Oh, so many first world problems...

    LKA and Parking Assist are works in progress and liabilities that Toyota's overworked litigation dept. won't support.
