    They checked nationwide... nothing available as of yet. No regional areas have any in stock, nor on order from Toyota. The way the dealership explained it to me, this is one of those car option packages that won't show up unless people start requesting it often. And it might be very difficult finding this one unless it is special ordered from the factory. They took away those extra features and lowered the price on the Plug-in Advanced to get the thing to sell better, so it's unlikely we'll see them add the features for a showroom floor model and hope it sells...

    OMG I am so glad you are OK. I make the similar PA Tnpke drive all the time from NoVA to Pgh, although we tend to go I-68 these days. Pretty hard to avoid snow in the mountains this time of year... we had some bad roads too maybe same day you did but we were up in the WV mountains this time. Funny you went to Koons I got mine in Miller/Mannassas in 2006. Koons manager was pretty helpful to me when I was trying to fight the VA hybrid fees earlier in the year. He is active in the VADA (VA Auto Dealer Assoc) and they are probably supporting the hybrid fee repeal effort...repeal legislation already pending. VADA never was asked about the hybrid fees, indicating the fee was rushed through without dealer assoc. support or even notice to them.
