My 2009 Prius has the 9-speaker JBL update that includes an amplifier located beneath the passenger seat. I would like to install a subwoofer beneath the driver's seat. I understand that all the connections I need for the sub are right there with the JBL amp. My question is: can I use the 12 volt power supply coming to the JBL amp for both the JBL and subwoofer, assuming that I add an in-line fuse to the + terminal? If so, this could be a very easy install. If not, I'll need to access the battery for power, or put the sub in back and run the speaker wires to the JBL unit. Thanks,

Run the subwoofer amp power lines, both + & - directly to the battery! I have a BOSS BASS 800, it's been running fine for a couple of years now. For me it fills in the lo end that is missing without booming your ears to an early death![IMG]

    Thanks. I'll do that.

Prius is a lot easier to add a sub too because the battery is in the rear. I have 2 12s that I am trying to sell so I can go back to having 1 10"
