U can't even tell that there LEDs. Behing the mirror. Once everything's put back 2gether, it all looks OEM.

Finished up the door handles today. Love the new door handles :) Not too much. Similar now to my past Lexus cars. Great contrast the the Dark Grey Leather and theme. Just a few more expensive but subtle mods to do and the interior is done for me.

I purchased these New Years Eve and installed them yesterday.

    - They look great, just like the OE ones. They have a plain blank front, no markings or imprinted text.
    - Tons cheaper than the OE ones
    - They push on without any tools needed
    - They stay in place without needing tape, glue, etc.
    - These do nothing functional but are an appearance mod.

:)Happiness is in the eyes of the beholder. I don't intend to be mean spirited only truthful. "New 4pcs Car Door Striker Cover Lock Protected antirust Case." Rates with me as the most worthless mod I've ever seen, regardless of cost or rust protection (?). Seller has sold 39 sets.

Didn't the OP say that the mod was only for appearances? Some spend money on shiny door handles; how worthwhile is that? How worthwhile is any of the appearance mods showcased on this forum?

Some negative opinions are best left unspoken...

^ Not to mention, those who show their car on even a semi serious basis knows that the little details are what win over judges.

And, if looks and luxury did not matter no one would buy a Lexus/Benz etc. etc. There is plenty value in what we do to make our cars more enjoyable from the kind of deathly stark Prius interior and allot say the same about the car in general. So I say since I can put a turbo in the Prius or many mods that take away from my purpose of buying the car to begin with I am gonna at the very least get it to the standard I have been so used to driving my old Lexus RX and my most recent GX470. Been modding for many years. Heh I actually kind of want the Door Striker Cover cause I think it should have been in the car to begin with just like I think the Prius should have a not only the heated leather seats I have but should have a package with wood grain and wood steering wheel. But they don't :(.

Yes eye of the beholder though. True enough. I think you would keel over if you saw my last car build :)

:)I agree. No disrespect for the modders, just the product. Any forum is a sharing of ideas and opinions. If we reply with only 100% approval or praise, we're not always being truthful or objective. Again, in my opinion, the "car door striker cover lock protected antirust case", in reality, a black plastic cover, is not a enhancement, nor does it provide any rust protection for a piece of galvanized metal that won't rust. Door handle covers, fine, turbo charger fine. I prefer appearance mods over performance mods. I encourage creativity, a good exchange of ideas, as well as honest opinions.

I have these as well and think it looks much better than the bare metal. It gives them a "finished" look.

I thought it looked familiar. I need to grab one of those... preferably with the hs250 attached.
