INFO SCREEN REPLACEMENT

    Hi guys, did anyone replaced the lcd screen that is in the middle that gives info regarding vehicle, energy, navigation, audio, etc. from Prius Gen 1 to a screen from Gen 2? I know that the unit is bigger, but want to know if by minor electrical modification it can be possible. (Just to modify the quality of the colours on my screen). Thanks

    Early Gen2 (to 2004, some 2005) is using analog signal, if you have electronic skills you can try to adopt it.
    But proper question is why you want to do that?

    Because the look of the screen is Windows 95 look, and few colors, and the 2nd gen looks a little bit more new :), yhis might be the reason but i don't think worth the work.

    Swapping display will not change it, this is only display.
