I have these installed, they're pretty good.

    And no modifications necessary. ;)

I did the same with amber bulbs. What a pita to change out though!

Can't complain about the Prius. I had to take the front bumper cover off, then pull out the headlight housing partially to even access the parking light bulbs on my Camry.

In the owner's manual it says to take it to the dealer for replacement. Yeah right...

Those were easy. It's the passenger low-beam that's annoying.

Cool to have as it's almost impossible to find matching bulbs for the LED headlights and they certainly look better than the ugly stack of yellow panels in LEDs.

What a clever idea. Maybe I'll switch to yellow. Never thought about that.

These don't output quite as much light as a little LED bulb there does, they look better and more unique in my opinion

Do these twist out or just pull down out?

They just pull out but the base attached to the wire twists into the headlight assembly.

Quarter turn, counter clockwise to remove.

On second thought, you want to remove the bulbs, and put the empty holders back in the housing. Or, you can disable the OEM parking light bulbs by cutting the two thin wires coming out of the bulbs.

The quarter turn did the trick. I actually prefer the "parking light delete" mod... Thanks!

Now I just learned that my driver's side amber corner light is out too. I prefer it unplugged (or out) but how the heck do you get to this one?!

That's what I currently have ever since my set of parking light bulbs burnt out. Nothing there to mismatch with the LED headlights. However, I may go back to using yellow bulbs.

I spoke to a Prius tech last week and he said it's basically impossible to replace that bulb without removing or at least pulling out the entire the headlight assembly... Every time he removes the headlight assembly for any reason, he replaces that bulb for free just because he's there and knows what a pain it is.

He lied to you because shortly after I unplugged it, took out the bulb, then reinserted back into the socket.:D

He's full of shit. There are instructions in the Prius owner manual on how to change the front side marker lights in the do-it-yourself maintenance chapter.
