Found this link for turning off backup beep

    well i have a 2010 w/o nav and it didnt work for me. Would be a good thing, i cant stand that beep lol

    The reverse beep can be changed by using an OBD device. There are lots of threads, so try a search.

    I went to my local toyota dealer, asked them to turn that off and they did it during my oil change service...

    Its actually in your manual under options, dont remember what page, but its one of the options.
    Also I asked them to have remote door opener to open all the doors with one push of the button, and something else I can't remember now.

    but eah, just ask and they will do it without asking why

    Does anyone know if we can eliminate that seat belt reminder beep too? Like if you don't wear your seatbelts and drive over 20km/hr, then the thing beeps like crazy

    yes you can do that as well, that you can do by yoursef, just click the belt and you are good to go :)

    They can both be done either by the dealer or using an OBD device.

    yes after searching i found 2345761 threads talking about it. lol. Now I know the dealer has to do those options on my model. thanks!
