Jerk at the gas station

Were there other open diesel pumps? I don't think this is necessarily hate on a Prius if there were other gas pumps open, but no open diesel pumps. He probably would have yelled at any gas car if that were the case. He would have a valid complaint, but still dumb for yelling about it. The local Sam's Club and Costco have the cheapest gas around and almost always have a line, never heard anyone complain.

 

Either the guy was having a bad day or is just a red neck. Frankly, I wouldn't worry about it. When I fill up, if there is more than one pump on the island that is open, I will go to the forward pump. Otherwise, IMO it is first come first served.

When you're walking through the cow pasture, you'll get his face on your shoes.

i had it out with a guy in a pick up truck once, he's no longer with us.

 

He wouldn't have been worth my time like a cockroach on the ground out on the sidewalk next to an open field.

Around my area he would have pulled out his AK-47 to prove his point.

I just got back from a trip to the store.

I was in the right lane of a four lane road. A woman abruptly pulled over from the left land then shortly made a right turn. I just assumed correctly that she was stupid and let her go. If her driving skills are lacking, it is NOT my business to teach her how to drive.

Further down the road, I encountered the same situation. I drove straight through the stop light as a slow deliberate rate when the light turned. Someone driving a dark blue BMW with dark tinted windows came close beside me on the left and laid heavily on the horn at my left blind spot, as I slowed and check my left side mirror to discover.

Apparently, he expected me to turn. But, there was no arrow on the pavement on my lane and no sign that said right turn only.

Stupidity is found on the road every day. I expect it...doesn't bother me a bit after 45 years plus of driving.

My life cannot be bothered by stupid people into road rage.

I had one guy in Texas 25 years, ago, who came out and knocked on my driver's side window.

He had NO idea how close he came to losing his life, if he had smashed that window. If need be, I left the NEXT person to take his life. Anyone like than NEVER learn a lesson. It was NOT his first or his last time. Sooner or later, he'd choose "poorly."

 

Sounds like a typical idiot….. don't think it was intended at you or your Prius, think its just another one of those idiots out there. You know those special cases

 

As little time as it takes to fill up Prius, he should be happy it's you and not a Suburban at the pump.

 

Funny thing is- someone like that would have no problem blocking the gasoline pump if there was only one of those open with many diesel pumps to choose from. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it...

 

In another situation, this woman parked close to the door at the Post Office. I parked maybe four cars away from the door. It was 20 feet from her car to the door. I got to the door about 15 feet in front of her.


She had the audacity to say that I broke the line in front of her.

 

I'm pretty sure you can get arrested for jerking at gas stations in most states.

Ummm..... yeah. That's kind of why I'm not allowed back into America.
