Newb from Dayton Oh.

    Howdy folks, Just purchased a 2007 Prius touring on 2/22/14.I purchased the car to work out of.I'm a contract auto parts delivery driver. My old delivery car was a 1999 Chevrolet Metro with 242xxx miles that still gets 47-48mpg.I have to admit I'm kinda disappointed in the Prius 43.9 average mpg.The Metro will go 396 miles on 8 gallons of fuel.The best the Prius has done is 347 miles on 8 gallons of fuel. I drive roughly 200 miles per day.

    welcome to priuschat! you're likely to be disappointed with the prius after the geo metro.;) remind me again why they don't make those anymore? congrats and all the best!(y)

    Getting better mileage now after doin some reading and driving the car different. Averaging bout 51mpg.Thanx Priuschat!!!
