When will the '14 PIP Advanced Technology package arrive?????

    So I just heard from the dealership, they say there are 9 white PIP Advanced Technology packages available and one light blue car. So still no Winter Gray cars yet….what is up with Toyota? If I am going to buy another Prius, it will be the color I want and not just what they have. I like white but where I am all of the city/county Prius' are white….so not for me.

    Yes we emailed back and forth when I began my search. I believe these cars are selling for a lot more in her area for some reason.

    The dealership tells me they have placed a order for the Winter Grey PIP Advanced Technology car but so far Toyota has not made the car in Winter Grey. Hopefully soon...

    Hi Dianne,

    Any news on other colors on the '14 PIP Advanced with Technology Package?

    Grey or blue would work. White is absolutely not an option for me.

    Any chance these are on your incoming list?

    Apparently no winter gray PIP Advanced with Technology packages coming to CA, according to SF Toyota. That is a shame. I will likely go buy the Ford Fushion Titanium with all the goodies.

    I have a pearl white coming. Soon. Our cars MSRP for the same amount as anyone else's. Incidentally, you can't "place an order" for a Prius. Cars built in Japan in certain plants cannot be ordered. Your can request a car on an allocation IF it's there and IF you're the first one asking for it that's earned it....

    :confused:WOW, that doesn't seen like a huge request. Especially for a large volume state like California. I use my DRCC (cruise control) everyday. Same with my LED headlights prior to the change over to daylight savings time. These are two high tech options I found attractive and worth the additional cost. I've made compromises on exterior colors before, but, looking at a undesirable color for several years could be agony. I'd consider another color first, and then a used 2012 or 2013 Prius Advance.

    Geez, at this point, waiting for a different color Advanced Tech advanced car could cost you HOV stickers. I'm not certain what priorities are but I know what mine are. I'd say you're risking the stickers over color....
