I have a 2012 Pruis C and I was wondering if you could turbo or supercharge it for more power? Any information would be appreciated. :)

After reading the articles this is what I learned, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Supercharger = quicker electric motor recharge. But with the added noise of the supercharger whining. But a better "punchier" feel when excelerating. About the same fuel economy. (Being an older car, and not like our Prius' today, I would think fuel economy would be better)

Turbo charger = better fuel econony (when kept around 7psi), same "punchy" feel, just no extra whining sound.

I think I'm interested in a turbo/super -charger now. Not for power but for the extra fuel economy.

The only problem is it will probably never pay off, even if you do get similar increases (which I doubt). Doing aeromods or hypermiling would be much more economical if you're looking to actually save money.

It was wishful thinking more like it. Aero mods will be first if any decent looking kits are ever produced. Suspension mods are looking to be first.
