Got the call today! Silver Pkg 8 in 1 week!

    Woo-hoo!
    Today I got a call from Piercy Toyota. My car will be here in 1 week-- 2-3 weeks if there is some delay.

    I called Piercy just last week after learning more about how dealers get their allotments.

    I originally ordered the car with another dealer on Jan. 6th.

    I'm suprised it's coming in the next week because the sailing schedule I saw says there's not another boat arriving in Benicia till March 11th. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

    Now I just need a cool license plate. Last time I checked, SNEAK (as in stealth) is available in CA, but I don't want it, so grab it if you do.

    The pod has arrived! I picked up my Silver Prius package #8 today from Piercey Toyota. Just a little more than 10 days from when I contacted the dealer.

    Someday, you'll be able to walk into ANY Toyota dealer and get a Prius right out of stock, even at a discount.

    It'll kinda be a sad day, in it's own way.

    No more posts from excited NooBs saying their car is "on the way." No more "Woo Hoo Finally Here!" messages.

    When you have to work for something, or wait for something... it just seems to be a little more special.
