They seem pretty loosey-goosey with their "averages."
Three oil changes/year? I don't think too many of us drive 30,000+ miles/year.
Four new tires every 18 months? I suppose so, if you need three oil changes/year. o_O
But look at all of the money you saved!!!

    Hoo man, what a dealership!

Beware of things that seem "...too good to be true..." because, too often, they aren't.

No hub caps always reminds me that
    1. Some one stole the hub caps , or
    2. All four tires went flat and these are only spare tires

So many good looking after market rims

that seems much better. I think you want to stay with the 15" because you will get better mpg and that is what I like about the car. I really dont like my hub caps. but I wont change anything until the tires are wore out. then I may get some lighter alum. rims with same size tires.

they want you to come back and buy a new car so you wont have to pay for tires buy a new car every 5 years and never buy a tire again. I bet the stealership will be encourageing you to do extra things to your car every time they put on tires.

I hope you love your car, and I hope you have nothing but the best service and advice from this dealership. My past experiances with many other stealerships has been very negative and if you could prove some of the things that were done. you could take them to court and win. so while I hope the best for you with factory service I do caution you that every time you take your car in is an oppertunity for them to make money. they will almost certainly reccomend doing things that are not listed in the maintenance schedule that comes with your car. On my wifes camry hybrid the 30k service would be over 300 that service included changing the air filter, cabin air filter, oil change and check fluids and basic look over. I paid $39 for synthetic oil change that comes with checking fluids and a basic look over. I changed the air filter and cabin filter at a local parts store in about 2 min. they cost me about $40 so I saved at least $220 on that one service. I would not let them do anything extra that costs money unless you notice a problem.

I remember metal hubcaps that had a cable that went under one of the lug nuts so they were difficult to steal. I always thought if they ever came off the rim while driving they would cause a lot of damage to the side of your fender:LOL:

I do love my car! Like I did with my previous car, once the free scheduled maintenance expires, I'll take it to family friend mechanic. I've never paid the dealership for any service other than oil change.

As far as the rim's a removed my caps and like the look. How much will the VIP plan cost you up front? The problem/catch is you have to do ALL service at the dealer and thats were they make the money back. Check out how much all the alignments and balancing will cost you. I go to Firestone and get alignments for life for around $180. If you add it all up they are coming out way ahead. Check it out and do the math.

There was no cost for the VIP plan. The only catch is I have to go to them for all wheel/tire related maintenance or repairs. All other maintenance issues can be done somewhere else.

There was a friend that had a engine guarantee. By the time he paid for all the service required to keep the guarantee, he more then paid for a new engine. Because the factory warranty covered the first 100,000 anyway. They offered me a service plan for my Prius that cost $1280.00 covered all maintenance for the first 75000, after doing some homework I found out the plan cost me $690.00 more then without it. Just do your homework
