I just purchased 4 Michelin A/S tires for my 2007. I had them installed today and the noise is unbearable! It sounds like I'm on a runway, ready to take off. As I accelerate, it gets much, much worse. I had a similar problem with the previous set of Goodyear tires, so I bought these based on all the recommendations here on this wonderful site. I did have a new set of bearings on the left side last year, so it's not that - they checked everything at the same time and they told me it was the tires - not the car. Now I have new tires and they are louder than my snows. I'm at a loss and not sure what to do....any suggestions would be great!

If you stop driving the car, the noise will go away. Sorry, I couldn't resist the impulse.

Tires that are extraordinarily loud suggest your car's wheels are misaligned in some fashion.

One of my 1992 Honda Civics had noisy rear tires until I corrected the camber of the rear wheels. They had too much negative camber due to wear of the independent suspension. Straightening out the camber corrected the noise issue and the premature wear on the tires as well.

Have you ever had the wheel alignment checked? I would start there.

Must be right side bearings(seriously), today I took off the studded snows and put on the EP422's, silence.

They were aligned when I had the snows put on - do I need another alignment now? They didn't seem to think I needed one. I may bring it to the dealer and have them run diagnostics. Alignment, balance off or bearing.... thank you!!
