Read the threads about the VPNS and figured I would disconnect mine.

It's not there. I pulled the liner from the driver side front wheel well liner, nothing. Looked down from the engine compartment with a flashlight, see the headlights, running lights and nothing else. No speaker, no wiring harness going anywhere except the lights and a grounding terminal on the frame.

Anybody had a confirmed sighting of this thing on a 2014? Or am I just blind as a bat?

Could it be this thing in the foreground?

The part number printed on the label (on the blue side) is: Denso 068900-5390. A little googling around suggests this is some kind of a buzzer.

I was considering pulling the plug on it when I was doing my horn upgrade.

Bingo! - thanks Dylan. Now to figure out how to get to it without pulling the bumper.

Take a look at the horn upgrade thread. It shows how you can remove the nose emblem and get easy access that way.

Ah - thanks. I'll give that a try when I get the car back - I dropped it off at the local Classic Soft Trim install center today to have leather installed.
