I had ordered a Prius, package #7 Prius last October. Cancelled the order in late January when I was told they had no idea when it might arrive. The 2001 Pontiac Montana with 104,300 miles had the transmission fall apart last week. Found someone today who wanted to buy the Montana as is and called the Toyota dealer where I had originally placed the order. He had a white #7 sitting on the lot and it's mine! I'll be picking it up Friday. Sometimes things do work out all right.

Are you getting it for the original price?

My original order was for MSRP which wasn't known in October. I'm paying MSRP which is $28,221 for the package 7.

I think so, too, Jennifer. My husband and sons (17 and 21) don't understand the appeal of the Prius but it satisfies my inner geek very nicely. :D I am happy to leave my minivan years behind.
