    Hi

Just replaced my Stock Avid tires at 41 k. It was time to replace.

I got a new set of Bridgestone Ecopia ep422 LRR tires

I live in upstate NY and drive them down to city so mix highway and city and in rain.

Mpg might adjust since tires are new.

Well got to say so far about these

    It's quiet
Mpg 48 with highway and city mix and rain
If your driving speed limit then this is the way to go

    Cons

If you like to drive through corners and curves and high speed then Look elsewhere

Not worried about snow since just got a set to cover that

Wll add more info once I add more miles on the ecopia

I also put on a set of these tires, and while they don't get stellar reviews, they are good tires. They're not as sticky as the Goodyear Assurance tires I replaced, but they are very good, and a good match for the Prius. Let's face it, if you're driving a Prius you're not stressing your tires. These tires are also good in snow. I drove in a bit of snow this winter with no issues (I live in MA).

One drawback: they stiffen up in the very cold weather and the ride quality gets harsh. However, when the temps go above 35F all is well. No need to avoid these tires; they're very good.

I also just purchased Ecopia 422 and in the first 600 miles, my mileage dropped from 48-50 down to 42.5. I'm planning on returning them to Costco and replacing them with Michelin Energy Savers A/S.
