Hey all, New here and thanks for the welcome.
I can not find a Plug-in in Az.

Any fellow Arizonans who went out of state?
    What dealer ship?
How was getting your Az plates (HOV)?

    General impression of the Prius?

    Milage?
How is it working with the heat?

    I have 07 and I love it...
    thank you all,
    D

Yesterday, I learned that friends who moved to AZ a couple years ago just acquired a new PiP. I've pinged them to learn its source.

And yes, it is solar powered, soaking up the excess of their overproducing PV system.

Our friends obtained the PiP from a dealer in Prescott. They were initially told it was unavailable. But after some finagling with that and some dealers out of town, the local dealer finally ordered it.
They had a small solar system on their previous house here in WA. After moving to AZ, they installed solar there too, despite AZ's lack of solar incentives. Between a larger system and better weather for solar, they ended up producing significantly more than the house used, but there is no payment for the excess. So the PiP will make use of that excess, and cover the bulk of their local driving.

In case you haven't seen it, my own solar story is summarized in:
