I'm selling my package 5 '04 Prius so I can get an 06 (hopefully). I had a buyer and I ordered an 06, but the buyer backed out when she had a water leak in her house.

Blue (seaside pearl), currently getting around 55mpg, just over 20k mi.,
It's super clean - never smoked in.

Options: 6 disc CD sound, side curtain airbags, dealer floor mats, homelink mirror, rear wiper.

I have all maintenance and gas records and everything was done at the dealer.

The whole car was scotchguarded (even the headliner) right after I took delivery in Mar 05 and I have had seatcovers on it since it was new. I have a nose bra that I used driving from Ohio to New Mexico, it wasn't on permanently so no marks. I'd like to keep the car seat covers, the nose bra is negotiable though.

No problems at all with the car, I'll give you any details you want, even down to the small window chip (that was from a rock) that was repaired.

If you want any information (VIN, more details, more photos) just email me.

Kelley blue book: Retail: $25,485; Private party sale: $23,210

Asking $22,450 negotiable -- make me an offer. Email Johnd.shannon at gmail.com.

Asking price lowered to $21,950, yet the value has actually gone up on KBB!

I still have this Prius for sale if anyone's interested. I'm getting close to when my new one will come in -- feel free to make me an offer.

Stil have the car if anyone's interested. I had lowered the price to $21,950 about two months ago. It appears the value has gone up but I'm not raising the price. I just checked Kelley Blue Book and trade in value is $22,500 (up about a thousand from a few months back.

The car now has 22,200 miles, still in excellent condition, no problems at all.

My 2006 should be in within the next month or two, so I'm hoping to sell my 04 before then.

Is blue book really $22,500 for trade in? I just bought a package 4 06 for $24,300 with almost all of the same options (no 6 cd changer), plus the backup camera and sks. Plus on an 06 you get the $3k tax credit (making a car with 22k less miles, two years less left on the warranty, and newer features a grand less than the 04. If the trade in is that high, why don't you just trade it in (assuming you live in a sales tax state you save the sales tax on the 06)?

If blue book is that high, are people getting those prices still? I know there are wait lists, but very few dealers are charging over MSRP these days (at least in the northwest). Where do you live? Good luck with the sale and in getting the 06 soon. Keep us updated on your sale.

Just sold my 04 Prius for $21,500.

In New Mexico, we are still paying MSRP, but my new one should be in by the end of the month (I put money down in October). Timing looks like it worked out perfectly.
