    i much prefer the knob over the button replacements.

    now, because of this thread, i now have to find a new knob... thanks a lot!

    does anyone know the thread specs on the knob? i may commission a cnc machine to do something original.

    The shaft clearance hole is a "G" sized letter drill. It is 10mm deep. The threaded portion is 16mm deep and bottom tapped.

    Hope this helps more. I am a machinist.
