I've done searches and only found how to replace just the license plate light bulbs, not the entire light assembly inside the hatch. I purchased the Xenon White 24-SMD LED License Plate Light Assembly from iJDMTOY.

However, getting to the light assembly seems impossible.

    An insight?

    Thank you very much.

That is a good purchase! You will have to remove the rear garnish to gain access to the lamp housing.

Thank you, RightOnTime. I'm just not sure how to go about removing the rear garnish. Are there any DIY's for removing the rear garnish? It just seems like they could have made it accessible.

It's held on by a couple nuts. The rest are clips. You'd have to pry at it slowly, and a plastic pry tool would be handy. Post up pics when you are done!

    1. Take off black panel inside the car. All held on by plastic clips (Designed to be pulled off and on)
    2. To remove the Rear Garnish, there are 4 nuts from the inside that you must remove (8mm)
Once done, remove the Garnish which is also held on by plastic clips.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I was wondering how this license plate light assembly has held up since you installed?
