You probably meant 2012 13 Toyota Prius FOG Light KIT Port AND Dealer Installed Switch Bezels Relay | eBay

It seems to be a Toyota SET product, as inputing the part number in toyota parts websites yielded nothing. It has the disclaimer "Some of accessories we sell come from Southeast Toyota. Southeast Toyota is the distributor for all Toyota cars and parts in the Southeast U.S. (Alabama, Florida, Georgia and North and South Carolina)"

    Hey,
    It's true!
I just returned two days ago from checking what you wrote. And it is true what you said. I have a 2013 Prius persona with no fog lights. The lower grill cost nothing, and you could buy cheaper outside. Toyota only deals with their own parts which is $2000.00 parts + labor, another $1000.00. I could have gone elsewhere. I knew what I wanted, but then I asked myself, will my warranty still be any good. The dealer told me if anything goes wrong with the lights, or you have an accident you are liable and you have to pay for it. You do the work at Toyota, they're responsible. And the warranty stays good.
So I washed my hands of it. No fog lights.
    But you can do it.
Just make sure the people that fiddle with you car knows what they are doing.
Check the business bureau on their reputation.

They fed you a bunch of lies. They can't void the warranty if you do it yourself thanks to the Moss-Magnuson Act. Pretty shady of them to try to rip you off to the tune of $3000 just for the fog lights.

Shady dealer, way too much for fogs, they are lying and rip off artists, no way they are treating you as a valued customer. I would let them know and post everywhere I could about their practices.

Why not go to another Toyota dealer and have them to order the car of your choice if they do not have the one you want in stock. Most Toyota dealers in my area have a glut of Prius on hand. Should not be a problem in getting the one of your choice in a short period of time.

The OP most likely wanted the Solar Roof and you can't get the fog light option with SR (at least in the U.S).
