LED tail lights - valenti looking LED on ebay

How can you verify that it is a Valenti CR and not a knockoff? Is there branding that denotes it? I know you guys have been around the forums and the mods scene for a long time so I trust your judgement, but for the newbies like me, how do you know? (gets checkbook out)

I bought stuff from Panson before when I had a Honda Fit. But if I can save $100, I would love to do that.

Plus he is out of the HC type, which I like as the red is more subtle

 

Here's the thing, I am 99.9% sure that they are Valenti's however they will not come with a warranty so should u have any issues, u'd be SOL.

Ur better of buying from Panson.....trust me.

That's the red Valenti lights that many of us have. SB is smoked. CR is chrome red but no longer imported. CC is clear and has never been imported as it's too similar to stock.

Jay J has the Spec-D. Those look like the Crystal Eye that Bino used to have but he had dimming problems with them. Expensive because it's JDM and not imported in the U.S.

 

I also had dimming problems with my Crystal Eye ones. I can't recommend them.

I'll let burstaneurysm answer for himself, but Bino's dimming problem on the crystal eye is described here.

 

Pretty much exactly that. My driver side brake light would occasionally be fine and sometimes be dim to damn near impossible to see (especially during the day). Again, I'm sure they can be fixed, but I didn't have the time or energy.

That being said, I have them sitting in boxes if anyone is interested. All other LEDs work fine and the pass side is totally fine.
