2008 Gen II 12v battery dead (?) - options

    Just looking at the web page, that Bosch will physically fit, but it is not externally vented and it has SAE posts not JIS posts, you someone would have to fabricate adapters.

    Got it.

    I found the same Bosch battery mentioned in this post (apologies if I'm linking the post wrong): Yet again...another 12v battery question | PriusChat but that's the only place I've found that battery mentioned here. She/he posted that it did have a hole for the external venting tube.

    Weird that both the Pepboys site and their "boys" told me that the Bosch is right for the Prius. Argh...

    Yeah, I'll just get the Optima since I know already that it fits.
