Check engine light came on as usual, and got a P1121 code. Replaced the coolant control valve and refilled coolant. Ever since then my high coolant temperature warning has been going off and when I turn the engine off a weird gurgling sound comes from the coolant control valve. Did I do something wrong? I followed this guide: P1121 - Coolant Control Valve Replacement (with pics) | PriusChat

You have air in your cooling system. There is a bleeder valve on top of the radiator that needs to be opened as well as the metal bleeder bolt on the inverter pump line to remove the air from the system. Just be careful tightening the valve because it is plastic.

The bleeder bolt does not need to be opened. The inverter coolant loop is independent, and separate from, the engine/radiatior loop.
