Dealer Ordered From (Incl. City/State): Roswell, NM
Timeframe given for delivery: 8 weeks
    Color: Siler
    Option Package: #6 HK
Your # on Dealer's Waiting List: Don't know

Carpet floor and cargo mats, also wanted it tinted.
I'm almost half of the way waiting and it seems so long to wait.

Ordered once last year but ran short in financial (had to help my parents in Houston thanks to huricane Rita) so had to cancelled, now i'm ordering again. Can't wait until the car arrived... So excited...

    Good for you!

Just suggested this to others on another Prius-waiter's thread: see if you can borrow a Prius Owner's manual from your dealer. You can read it twice while waiting, and kill two birds with one stone.

Are Priuses delivered by truck to Roswell, or dropped from huge, round spacecraft?

I live in Texas and ordered Prius in Roswell, NM. (I guess you know this alien town). I am careless if the Priuses delivered by spacecraft or trucks. But they give me a heck of a deal. Invoice price + 600dealer markup + 199Docfee. I am saving a whole lot here.
All the dealers around my area always use MSRP+dealer markup+Docfee.

Anyway, about 4 hours drive to Roswell, I don't think I stop by and borrow Owner's Manual anytime soon.
Thank you very much for the warm welcome "Prius Chat Rock".

Toyota ought to offer a Prius-withdrawl patch that can be worn on the arm to control Prius cravings while waiting for our cars to arrive :)

Not my business, but you could call them and ask them to mail you one. It's not a big "demand", if you're a little afraid to ask.

Judging from your screen name and your reference to parents in Houston, I'm guessing you're Vietnamese? If so, an even warmer welcome (from me at least). My wife is half Vietnamese, half Cambodian.

If I'm wrong, I apologize for not minding my own business. :(

You'll find a need for a similar Prius-withdrawal patch anytime your car is being serviced or you've traveled somewhere without it...trust me!

You are very articulate and made a correct guess; I'm vietnamese. We (as vietnamese) are fond with Toyota and Honda vehicles. My family (parents, and siblings) has 9 vehicles and they are all Toyota or Honda. But as far as Hybrid, not many vietnamese has yet have the courage to try new technology due to the fear of breakdown in the long run 150-200K miles. I'm difference, I'd like to be a guinea pig in this Hybrid Technology. I used to have a Toyota Camry 92' and last year, when I sold it, it was over 150K and still run good, perfect engine condition, external color kinda fade away a bit. I still miss it, so I'm gonna save money and get another Toyota, this time it's gonna be Hybrid. Wish me luck. I am still anxiously waitting for my Hybrid.
For the Owner's Manual, i'll read priuschat, it's more fun than reading the manual, getting educated and to know the car better this way. Next month i'll get verything (car and manual) from the Alien town Roswell.
Thank you very much for your warm welcome, please send my greetings to your wife, wishing you both have a wonderful year of the Dog of prosperities, longetivity and happiness.
