    1) California tax payers are subsidizing all of the hydrogen. The companies installing it only care about profits, so if the subsidies are higher with sequestration they will put it in ;-)

    2) 33% of hydrogen and 33% of electricity are supposed to come from renewable in california. I don't think sequestration counts as renewable.

    3) I am sure that if sequestration was cheaper than renewable, and california allowed it, there would be sequestration.

    4) UC-Davis researchers expect that with another billion in tax payer funding hydrogen costs could drop to around $6.50/kg. It still is not legal to sell hydrogen as vehicle fuel in california, and I am sure the main hold up, is that the fuel cell lobby and CARB do not want to publicize unsubsidized prices, and want a subsidy plan in place before they make it legal.

All current fuel cell vehicle leases include fuel. I don't think that widespread sequestration is likely as at some point the subsidies have to end, and the price even without sequestration is much higher than gasoline. The only sequestration project plant i see also produces electricity from coal and coke. Sequestration is necessary to buiding such a plant in california, otherwise a new coal plant would be illegal.

I don't think you would know/see any difference between any other Mercedes you'd see on the road IIRC.
