AZ Owners, caution

    So, I took my car for service to a new (or at least not-yet-on-the-NAV-system) dealer in the area, Avondale Toyota.

    The staff was friendly, and the waiting area was comfy and all, but the service left much to be desired..

    They did at least use the right grade of oil, but they charged me for five (!) quarts of oil for my Prius.

    The service manager assured me that it was just a flat rate they charge for interval service, but when I later checked the oil was rather badly - nearly an inch over the high mark on the dipstick.

    They also failed to reset the MAINT REQD light, which I did myself before leaving.

    When I brought the car in, the battery was at 6 bars- when I started it up to leave, it was at one blinking red.

    Also, to my minor annoyance, they seemed to decide that the 20,000 mile service needed the side mirrors adjusted as well.

    I have yet to see if they deflated my tires, I'll be checking that tomorrow most likely.

    So, anyone know any good Toyota dealers in the Phoenix, AZ area?

    Have not needed service yet, going to try larry miller on bell and 101 when I do.

    My service with Avondale was pretty miserable too. Took six hours for an oil change!
