Assuming that river you live by is in the US, Gen2 takes either 5w-30 or 0w-30.

This time of year I normally go to 0w-30 Mobil-1 Advanced Fuel Economy on the hopes the oils flows better at low winter temps. The High Mileage Mobil-1 does not claim to be as good as other Mobil-1 for MPG, and is intended if you are having leaks or other oil loss issues. In the summer I tend to use the 5W-30 Extended Drain in case I feel like procrastinating past 7000 miles on the next oil change.

    And I would only add:

I would personally advise you to stick with whatever has been used in the past, if you know.
After 100K miles, there really is no good reason to switch to synthetic; your money would probably be better spent with slightly more frequent changes.

That is assuming that you don't have issues with excess oil consumption (or loss).

I guess the only thing left to say is:
I too miss SNL's Chris Farley and his "van down by the river sketch"

I have used Mobil 1 synthetic oil and Mobil oil filters from day one (160,000 mi). I usually purchase Mobil 1 oil by the case at Costco and keep it on hand. On those times when I have had a commercial oil changer do the oil change I bring my own Mobil 1 synthetic oil and oil filter. I purchase Mobil 1 filters in lots of 10 through Amazon. It just turns out our Toyota Echo and Prius use the same filter.

That's what I use too. Mobile 1 5W30 from Costco when it is on sale. I use either Toyota filters when the local dealer sends coupons, or Bosch filters from Autozone. We have 173,000 miles on our 2005 and it doesn't use any oil. I do change it every 5000 miles when the light comes on.

An alternative: you can get Toyota's 0W20, if you're at the part counter getting the filter and washer anyways. At our nearby dealership it's $5.65 per liter.
