    Hello All,

Just about to purchase my first Prius II. I really want to switch out the head unit to the Parrot ASTEROID Smart, but so far my research has told me the steering controls won't work if I do. Are the only controls on the Prius II that deal with the stereo are Volume Track and Bluetooth? Does anyone have any experience with the Smart stereo? I've only seen videos of it on youtube, but if it's Android based, I'm pretty much sold since I've seen people rooting them. Here's a great video of one of the units in a Tesla Roadster,,

Anyways, this was my first post, I've been a long time lurker, love the site but didn't feel compelled to join until I was about to get a Prius. Thanks all.

I have installed the Parrot Asteroid Smart along with the steering wheel control module. All-in-all I am happy with the switch. The major complaint that I have is that the phone buttons on the steering wheel don't work. I am not sure if there is anything I can do about this.
