Fog light wiring

    Does anyone have a definitive answer for how to wire up aftermarket fogs?
    I really need to know where to pull 12V under the hood and what to tap in the cabin for the switch.

    I've done it in my 2010, but AFAIK, second gen is different.
    Can I use a fuse tap in the location for the stock fog fuse?

    Anyone? Someone must have successfully installed fog lights in their 2nd gen.

    I have the diagram, but the OEM fog stuff is different from the add on kits.
    I was just hoping someone had installed them and knew what they tapped.

    I need 12v under the hood and then switched hot under the dash.

    Pick permanent 12 volt up from under the hood from the jump point via a suitable inline fuse. Does the lighting stalk switch have a fog light switch as part of it's functions? If not I suggest you buy the one with this function possibly from a damaged vehicle.

    I was thinking about using the jump terminal, but wasn't sure if there was something better to tie into in the fuse box.
    Came with a different switch, car doesn't have the fog stalk.

    Just use the wires from the headlight switch low beam or the relay for the low beam headlights to activate the relay for the fog lights. That way, you can hard wire the fog light power through the relay to the jump port in the fuse box under the hood. The fog lights will allways come on when the headlights are on low and go off when they are turned off or switched to high beam. Rudimentary I know, but it'll work. Law states here in Texas that no other foreward facing white light(s) can be on with the high beams.

    I see that one our accesories use the fuse location right under the jump contact on that fuse block. I could send you the whole thing but that is for our accessory that are from TMS through our region down by Florida. The grounds we use is the ECM mounting spot where the bolt comes in to the frame by the brake fluid reservoir. Routing depends on the setup Im assuming.
