Hey Fellow Prius Owners- First timer here. I'm new to the Priuschat, but not new to Prius. I have a 2008 model and when I started it yesterday I had a message in the computer about the air filter and I think the air filter light was on. I first thought, maybe the computer wasn't reset, when I had it serviced. I checked it and it seemed clean (I could see sunlight through it.) I had it serviced about 2 months ago and *have* noticed my gas mileage dipping. Any thoughts I welcome them. Thanks for such a great resource.
Is there a reminder (timer) for changing the air filter ?? Air filters are cheap, relatively. If has over 15K miles, I vote for changing it.
someone must have set your maintenance schedule in the mfd. you can reset and ignore, but it might be worth checking the filter if the mileage is right.
