My charging connector is not seating properly with the charging inlet. The "click" is very difficult to execute. It appears that there may be a missing or broken part on the outside-top portion on the charging inlet. Any ideas on what may have happened to the inlet and/or the charging connector? Thank you!

There is a big o-ring in the charging Handel it may not be in correctly. If so reinstall or remove if this is the problem.

Yeah- remove the "O" ring with a pick/probe tool (unplug EVSE from wall first please).
Most new EVSE handles don't even come with the troublesome "O" ring any longer because of the problems it causes.
I removed it from the public ChargePoint station I use as I was having problems with my PIP and then the Volt too... now it works very easily.
