I'm getting the front struts replaced under extended warranty next week, so I'm wondering if there are options for softer coil springs for my car. So far I haven't found any online, but I wonder if springs from other cars like the Avalon may be able to fit the struts on my car. I don't know.
My main goal is to achieve a softer ride and I figure this is a good opportunity to change the springs if that'll help me achieve that goal.

    Thanks for your help.

This is a 2009 Non touring Prius.

As far as I know, there isn't any options. You could look for a soft quiet tire though, it will make a difference. It will also take down your mpg :/

I had a feeling there aren't any options. I will look at softer tires when my current energy savers wear out.

Does your car have the base 15" wheels?

Use the recommended tire inflation pressure of 35/33 psi (as opposed to using a higher value.) Your tires will wear unevenly (shoulders will wear faster) but the ride will be a bit softer.

If it were me I would call QA1. Tell them what you want to achieve. Or call Summit Racing, they have a well trained staff and if they don't know what springs or struts to use they will have a contact at a manufacture that does.

I am a Sales Manager of a aftermarket parts manufacture. I usually will have a contact to just about anything on a car and if I don't Summit Racing will be my next call.
