There were posts about the VaisTech iVic series for androids devices and newer prius models. I thought I would mention that I installed an iVic 5 and the XM sat radio units in our 2006 Prius (Gen 5 nav system) with great success. The system integrates nicely with the stock Prius radio/nav system and I am very pleased with the result. The only quiblle I have is that the current iVic app software for the iPhone does not support audiobook playback on the main iVic display on the Prius display module. The work around is to select the audiobook in the music app before plugging the iPhone into the iVic system. Vais tech support told me that an upcoming release of the iVic app for iOs will add the missing audiobook support. I ended putting all the units (the iVic and the XM system) under th passenger seat for easy access for updates. The cables supplied were long enough and the task was easy once I found a couple of uTube videos for hints on taking the console apart to get to the back of the radio and display units. I also was most pleased with the rapid response of Vais technical support on a couple of questions I had. Overall, a great way to upgrade the stock system and take advantage of the features of my iPhone (able to use my iphone contacts, the map app, as well as the music, etc).
