Just curious, when you're not driving your Prius (or drooling over a new Prius), what fun things, hobbies, pastimes do other PriusChatters do? Anything goes here (well lets hope it's not something that will get Shmitka on our case  ), just interests, fun things you do etc.

My pastime is woodworking, furniture that is, tables, chairs, clocks, cabinets, etc. also with the wood scraps I turn pens, oh yea, and lots and lots of sawdust
Then as the farm kid lives on in me, gotta have that garden in the summer, never could stand to eat a grocery store tomato. And when the garden isn't growing and the table saw is cooling off, I gotta grab the camera.

Now if that damn job didn't eat up so much time... (better be carefull what I wish for  ).

online gambling (great challenge. still have not exhausted my original $50 investment. just lucky i guess)

bikng, walking, hiking, general sightseeing (i am a fair weather explorer however so not doing much of any of that right now)

lately, i am also spending a lot of time getting my multi-media stuff together. pics, music, videos, etc. most recently, won a video ipod at a blind auction to benefit New Horizons School in Renton, WA (they specialize in education for special needs 7th-12th graders, are privately funded and ALWAYS broke. all proceeds go to the school... so HAD to do it)

Hey, what's a good, reputable site for online gambling?

I MUST dabble in a bit of sin!

    pokerroom.com

only place i go to and know of. my brother in law has gone there for about a year or so i think.

i do texas hold em, sit and go's 10-20 player limits $5.50 buy in ($5 to pot .50 to house)

there are also freerolls where the house tosses in cash and its free to play (to hard to win though, limit 2400 players and it fills up fast)

you can win BIG BUCKS if you play in 400 man tournaments. but have to be very lucky or good...most likely both. i do ok on 10 person games. on it, i can win (top 3 pay 25, 15, 10) money 25-33% of the time

Meeting with friends and doing more of all of the above.

Also spend time with girlfriends, going "to tea" (argh! do I HAVE to dress up?? no, I do not own any white lawn gloves!!). But I refuse to accompany them to that favorite of local pass times, basket bingo. Expected when you move to a tiny southern-ish town, I guess.
