I just bought a used 2009 prius from a dealership. When I was at the dealership, my phone synced and was able to be used just fine with the bluetooth. When I went to add my contacts to the phonebook, I realized that the phonebook has a pin on it from the previous owner. I tried the default 0000, but that didn't work. I then called the dealership and they told me that they would not call the previous owner and ask what the pin is, and their tech support just left and will be gone until Friday because of the Christmas holidays...I tried looking up a way to do a "master reset" type thing, but can't find it. Can someone please help?

Can this not wait till Friday?

For personal reasons, no. If I don't figure out how to do it myself, it won't get done is the short story.

Don't know if it will clear the PIN, but you can try disconnecting the 12V battery for a few minutes.

    Thank you.
My husband was able to fix it by going to the settings and clicking on the "delete personal data". I wanted to post the solution on here in case someone else had the same issue.
