    Hi

We have two full days and the evening on Thursday.

Is Pikes Peak worth it and how about Royal Gorge Bridge and how about the sand dunes..
I know we can't do all but what would you suggest

Just thought I’d post an update now that the hotel reservations are made. Thanks again for all the suggestions. Unfortunately only so many things fit in one vacation.

    Here are our general plans:
One full day in Denver sightseeing and visiting family. The next morning we tour the Denver mint, then drive out to Silver Plume for a railroad and silver mine tour. We spend that night and the next in Colorado Springs, taking the tram up pikes peak and visiting the garden of the gods the day between. We get an early start the next day and stop in Canon City for a half day of white water rafting combined with a train ride thru Royal Gorge and then drive the rest of the way to Gunnison. We will spend a day touring the Black Canyon of the Gunnison and other nearby parks and spend the night in Montrose. Much of the next day will probably also be spent in these parks. At this point in the trip I wasn’t sure what we’ll feel like doing and was trying to decide whether to make reservations in Aspen so we could do some hiking or in Buena Vista figuring that we could do a full day rafting trip if my husband likes the half day one. I ended up finding a place to stay in Twin Lakes (at least I think that’s the town- I might have to check that one) which is roughly half way between for two nights. That way we can drive 1-1.5 hour to hike in Aspen or raft somewhere along the Arkansas river, or if its nice or we’re tired we might just hang out and see what twin lakes has to offer. We will then spend 3 nights in Estes Park visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and hiking. We will have one afternoon/night in Boulder and then make the drive home.

As long as your wheels are still in contact with the road surface.
