Do you have it pulled forward, flush with the cup holder edge?

It was yeah, maybe it just looked odd to me. I did all the seats just fine but left that off because didn't like the way it looked, just looked like it wasn't right haha

The one for the 2010-11 looks much better. Without the cup holder cutout, there's a much better fit.

On the 2012-15's, with the cup holder in the front, there's not a lot that you can do to really change the way it fits. I thought about using the hook side of some velcro to help hold it forward. More than likely, I'll get some material from Clazzio or have local upholsterer make something a little more fitted. At the same time, I'm thinking of changing the cloth insert on the door panels as well. For now, the Clazzio cover is going to stay, since it covers that itchy fabric Toyota chose to use. :cautious:

I'm only covering the front row seats. The rears are always folded forward to haul around event supplies and other random crap.

Greatest gf response to any mod so far...

"How come I didn't get a cute seat?" :ROFLMAO:

These are my current readings on the same tank of gas. On course for 500 miles or more before the next fillup.

Good Evening all you DIY Maniacs. Did you all sand down before adding your bumper plugs? Thanks in advance![IMG]

Also, when using a hydraulic jack, i felt like using the points for the scissor jack were a little weak. Are there any other areas under the car in which the jack can be used? Primarily a center point so that jacks can be placed at the sides to do 2 wheels at a time or to install springs? Here's a pic I took from under where the rear wheels are. Is that exposed cylinder shaped silver colored metal piece safe to use or no? Doesn't look very sturdy, but I could be wrong.

That's THE rear central jacking point. A flat rubber cradle (or hockey puck, in a pinch) is good. There's a front central jacking point also. Pretty self-evident, think there's even an embossed arrow on the plastic engine underpanel, pointing at it.

Both front and rear points are noted in owner's manual.

I don't like the scissor jack proscribed positions, on the lower edge of rocker panel: poorly suited for bearing on most any safety stand cradle. I'll dig up a pic of my alternatives.

Here's where I put safety stands, marked in red. Front of car is on right side. The front positions are at the ends of underbody rails. The rear positions are in reinforced zone. There's oval plugs right there in strongly reinforced slots. I learned from dealership that the plugs are put in during PDI. My hunch there's pins in the slots, during shipping (or on assembly line?) to stabilize the car, keep it from shifting.

    Hey Ram,

U can try to push the plastic back in the hole but u may need to sand as u want a flush surface for the plug to sit on.

Anyone know where to find the white inlays for the toyota emblems in the front and back? Thanks? Or how to go about doing that the best method on a DIY or what not. Thanks!

I really don't remember what it used to sound like..... We bought it to hopefully would bring back some of the power and gas mileage we lost with the bigger tires and rims.
