:( my Tideland Pearl needs to go to the body shop to repair side door damage. (got side-swiped by a side view mirror) Anyway, while it is there I thought I'd have the body shop add pinstripes.

Any suggestions on what would be a good color for the Tideland Pearl?
Does anyone have pictures they can share?

    Thanks!
    Terry (aka momsum)

    Hey grasshopper,

Looks great! Where did you get the striping? Did you do the work yourself?

I'd also like to know where you got your side mouldings from...I like the wider ones...more protection. Your pin striping looks awesome too...

My guy’s card says “automotive strips & accessoriesâ€. So you should be able to go to any Pin striper or Graphic designer and have them fix you up. What we did for the Prius part was to find a font that looked close to the Prius font and altered it. On his computer he removed the parts in the P and the R, made them a little thicker and extended the top front of the P. He just printed it out on his special plotter for vinyl and Buta Bing Buta a Bang, just stuck it on there. $45.00

    Side molding:www.metrotoyotapartsnow.com $123.85

Just had my tinting done. Formula One Pinnacle Ceramic 35%, $345.00. Made by CPFilms Inc. Martinsville, VA. 800-851-7781. I had to call to find a dealer within 100 miles, but in Caleefornya (Like Arnold says) You probibly have lots of Certified and Bonafide installers.

Must rob bank before I can get Clear Bra. :(

Normally the dealer matches the inside color to the pin stripe

    Nice mouldings!

The key word is "Normal". I chose not to be normal. Well, actually I didn't choose really choose. But then it has been my experience that very few people on this forum are even close to normal.

Anyway, I’m glad you like it, I know I do and after all everything is about me me me me me …and my Prius.
According to Dr. Fahy, my VA shrink, I’m doing much better and adhering to the two rules that he makes me live by. “Take my medicine every morning …. and Don’t buy a Gunâ€.

    I’m fine I’m fine.

Anyone know where to get color matched door edge guards? Dealer says every color is available except mine: silver pine.

Mine came with black pin stripes, and matching door edge and wheel well moldings. It was part of a $500 dealer "added value" package (profit over MSRP). I kind of like them though, I didn't like how they gave me no choice until it was already installed. My interior is the beige, light brown, and the stripes are black. It does match the "Prius" decal though.
