Yeah, so I parked by a friend's Audi TT a little while ago. And everyone came over to look... at the Prius of course. :) I was doing the end-user-Prius-salesman thing for about 10 minutes.

I must say I trotted over to the Audi though. Very nice curves. Very futuristic design inside too.

Actually, one of the guys was a motorcycle mechanic. He liked speed, etc. of course but still the Prius beat the Audi for his attention. :D He just gawked at that totally foreign engine and wondered out loud if he had enough skill to even change the oil in that thing. :p

What struck me about the cars was that the Prius had very family-friendly styling (aka generic) but a lot of cool gadgets, vs. the Audi which had ultra-modern sleek styling but no cool gadgets.

    I'll confess...

that I almost bought the Audi TT a few years back - bought a Lexus instead. But i'm getting my Prius either this week or next week (long wait over - yay!!) and am so excited! My sig other (who has a TT) was skeptical at first, but we test drove it, he saw it, and now he's thinking about getting one too! Another convert to the cause!

Isn't that Tideland Pearl? Looks like grey-green to me.

It's called: Dolomite Gray pearl effect.
Saw one in the 'wild' a few days ago. Still love that colour. :)
