Anyone try this product? Carmate screen and cell phone holder

    Has anyone installed this in their Prius with standard Navi? My CD eject without tilting so I guess I am ok(non- JBL)?

    "** May not work with 2010-2011 Prius models with Navigation. This navigation tilts open to eject CD - tilt mechanism will be blocked."

    The screen looks to small to actually block the sunlight coming in.

    Any feedback? thanks

    It's okay. You're right, from the side it doesn't protect much. I got it just because I saw it at the car store in japantown sf for about 27-28. The phone rattles a bit when it's there but I like laying it on the side usually not standing upright like the picture. I'm in the process of putting some felt to stifle the rattles. Then again I also just bought the iottie car phone holder since I thought that looked cool too.
    Forgot to mention it sits on the plastic parts above the navi. I should check if it blocks opening and closing. Having done it since I'm on Sirius.

    So this just wedges itself into the gap at the top? No clips or tape?

    Does it block the sun shining from above? My front windows are tinted so that help reduce sun from the side.

    So you have the navi that tilts to eject right? Will it fix the factory 7 inch navi on the 5 models?

    His is the 7" Navi as you cannot see slot for CD's.

    6.1 inch is the size of the Navi in the non advanced technology package model I believe

    Gotcha...now I see, well I couldn't see cause it was dark in his pic so you cant see the slot! haha well im out of luck!

    Well if it fits his it should fit your's. He has the tilting screen model... even though the note from Carmate says otherwise.

    Recap, those are the 2 size navi screens available on the Prius. This is not suppose to fit the 7" screen but you see he has it on there. Perhaps when it tilts it knocks it off?

    Had to run down and check yep it does block the cd loading. This is the price we pay for an impulse buy I guess...
