How to get a synthetic extended performance oil filter

    While I have no inside knowledge, it is logical to assume that if the interval for changing the oil has moved to 10,000 miles, and that notice was not accompanied by any dire warnings against using Fram Filters (or any requirement that you use any particular brand or specification), they expect that you will change the ordinary, common filters when you change the oil.

    Sure, you can do more, but this is what they have determined is acceptable.

    It sounds fabulous.
    1 micron filtration!
    Magnets, solid metal canister.
    This is like prayers answered.
    (it's unknown seller, cat in a bag, but can't we dream a little?...
    BTW, I have some synthetic oil additive, extracted from snakes oily glands, stabilized at near 0K temperatures. Makes engine heal itself and eventually grow another cylinder. Oil changes no longer needed: you vehicle will be producing oil, which you can sell to others.)
