I have my multifunction display in trip mode but it does not show current trip MPG. Am I doing something wrong?

    Go to the HSD screen.

Then keep pressing trip until you see trip a or trip b at the bottom of the screen.

You will see the current trip mpg there. Push and hold trip to reset.

You are correct that you won't see your current drive mpg until you shut off the car.

@bisco - 2012 to 2015 multifunction display is the same.

I have it in trip B and it shows total gas cost, miles to empty, total miles but the trip MPG isn't there. I have seen pics online of a 2011 Prius with it displayed, but mine has a blank in that spot.

Go to the HSD screen first (the one with the chg/eco/power bar)

Until you shut off the car, it doesn't know how long your current "trip" is. You get cumulative MPG on Trip A and Trip B, so if you really need running MPG on your current trip before you end the trip just reset Trip B every time you start a new "trip".

On a related topic (sorry about the hijacking), on the 2012 PIP, how do I enter/get the gas cost (savings) displayed?
