Try set the degree inside to 70 and turn on the front defrost on high. Do not turn to LO and AC. It will never work, weird. I ask the dealer regarding why my wasn't defrosting and that what they told me. Try it and let me know if that work for you. Thanks

Clean your windshield on the inside as well as you can. Even if it looks clean.

A clean windshield resists fogging, and clears faster.

    Nevermind,

Yeah, I blew it, I missed the magical and vital term "outside".
It's still a good idea in regards to avoiding fogging to keep your windows clean, but if it's on the outside I doubt cleaning the inside would make much of a difference.

Post #3 makes sense. If the AC is on and it's humid outside, you'll get condensation on the outside. The AC comes on with the defroster.

    BINGO.
Most noticeable when the outside humidity is high.......which it pretty much always is in the mornings if you live near a big body of water.
And sometimes the car tries to de-humidify when you don't even know it's doing it.

If it is in a spot where the wipers wipe, leave them on low for a while.
If the spot is where the wipers miss........don't worry about it.
