Since I travel so much in my Prius C, (500 mile+- a week), I decided to get a Dash Cam System.
This is what I got: K1S 1080P Dual Car Dash Camera
K1S 1080p Dual Car Dash Camera System.
What I like about this system the most is you have two small cameras that connect to a base station DVR that you can hide away. I Put mine in the Glove Box.

I ran all the wires properly out of site and followed wiring harness runs as much as possible.
Also finally ran my USB cable for my Phone to the Glove box with Delta Flyer II's help. Now it does not hang outside to go into the glove box.

    Here are some pictures:

Ran The rear camera wire with the wires that go through the wire covering thing. (Dont know the exact name)
Then over to the passengers side, down to the bottom door trim.

    NIce!
    What's the push button for?
And, can you use this system for rear view reverse monitor?

Can the monitor be left on to automatically display rear view on constantly?
Having hard time finding a decent rear view cam... thx

Its for both Start/stop recording if need be(it starts when the car turns on Automatically), and to also to mark incidents with a quick click to put in a locked folder.

You can, it comes with a video out cable, RCA connection, but your Monitor or stereo system would have to accept the analog signal.

Yes, you can choose to display either front or rear; and Both at the same time.

Does this unit come with desktop software to view the videos from SD card?
And, I guess you'll have to separately source the docking mechanism to mount its little controller/monitor on the windshield near the reviewview mirror...

It does come with software, but the file can be played on any media player such as windows media player. They are standard MP4 Files.

I think they sell a window attachment accessory.
