Hmm, this looks interesting, lower watt HIDs designed for smaller foglight enclosures. Nice price point too:

But reviews are kind of 50/50 :cautious:

Reviews seem on the upside but i'm not so sure of their claims and the people reviewing them know what they are getting. 25w is low but if Opt7 HID's can match the brightness of the standard 35w HID then i'm all in. At least amazon is easy to return and the price point is not too bad.

Received the foglights yesterday afternoon. :D

Unfortunately, I can't install them today, the other parental unit is off today. ;)

The construction looks nice, and solid. I like that there is some horizontal and vertical adjustment possible. I'm going to see what it looks like with the foglights mounted at max angle to the sides of the vehicle, since all pics posted shows plenty of overlap in front of the vehicle. Trying to get max illumination to the sides.

Have all of you mounted with the foglights about level on the horizontal axis? That's what I'm thinking because the foglights are mounted low with a good cutoff, so no need to angle down at all.

Well if you check this thread, my original question was to another member regarding his specific wiring harness. Then, you chimed in with a comment about OEM fog light instructions thread. It's like some people have to insert themselves into conversations. I responded to you saying that next time I will not ask openly and I will send a private message to the person I would like to talk with, that way it cuts down on sarcastic, know-it-all, unhelpful comments.

P.s. I have the PDF install guide. That harness is different than the one I asked about.

EDIT: Sorry @xliderider I flipped out, I had a bad day yesterday. I know everyone is here to help others

My bad, and no sarcasm intended on any of my posts. I was on my smartphone earlier, and the quote didn't show who posted it originally. My apologies.

Hey CREAM, I used Machanon's blog word for word for my install.

You mean mount them so that the beam matches the height of the low beam? if so I believe member @nedear88 actually has done that with these projectors haha, maybe he can chime in.

    Hey y'all,

For those 2011 owner installing the projector fog light, the best way is take out the OEM mounting bezel from bumper to fit in the projector housing, it's much easier and you are able to tuck in the projector housing, 1 mounting screw is blocked after fit in, you can only made adjust on 1 side, so do not tighten the blocked screw too much otherwise you can not make adjustment afterward.

I had the projector angle up maximum to throw as much light it can, since the projector do not glare the oncoming vehicle driver, now I can drive with the fog lights on at night, it's bright as low beam.

Here is the updated 5000K HID on the fog light.

I wonder if there's a way to remove the cutoff so I can throw out as much light as possible?

I want to use it when I visit my mom's farm in the middle of nowhere. There is nobody to blind.

The housings look like they're glued shut. Besides, that's what highbeams are for. ;)
