The 241401.6 km thread!

    Ok, we know that many US states have the CARB 150k mile hybrid drive train warranty, but this thread is for we "other guys" who don't. :D

    I've just reached this new milestone with the original traction battery, and without any other major failures either, so I thought I start this thread. :)

    Just wondering, who else is without the 10yr/150 kmile warranty, but have reached both of those milestones anyway?

    Original traction battery still in service and no other major failures to report, 196K miles/11 years on my 2004, manufactured in late 2003 with first date of service in early 2004.

    Sounds good Patrick. Now that I've made 150k miles I've got my fingers crossed in hope to make 200k miles on this battery too. :)

    Keep them coming guys.

    BTW. I hope everyone realises that 241401.6 km is exactly 150000 miles. I actually meant to make the title "The 241401.6 km club" (but for some reason I wrote thread instead of club) as a bit of a spoof of all the "200000 mile club" type threads, since many of us "other guys" with shorter hybrid warranties live in metric countries. :)

    I'm well past 241K km on my 2006, up to 351K currently, to be exact. However, I did have the HV battery rebuilt 2 years ago (@273K in May 2013), which resulted in replacing 4 cells, and I have been doing great since. :)

    So, I got past the 241K, but have dealt with a failure since. I have documented my experience in other threads (if interested) if you search. :)

    Have the 'hybrid' situation folks ever been sorted out? - meaning non carb hybrid, originally purchased out of state - then resold in a carb state? .... or the opposite - carb state hybrid, originally purchased, then resold out of state - in a non-carb state? At least one of those groups falls on to the OP's question.

    2007 with 237345 miles. Original hybrid battery and breaks. No failures.
